Geeetech I3 Pro Display Mount
Description
I wanted the display of my Geeetech I3 Pro C to be positioned in front of the heated bed like the Prusas. I needed it off the top of the printer to accommodate my soon to be uploaded, dual filament spool mount. I wanted for this mount to print easily while keeping the display absolutely rigid for encoder presses, at a 45 degree viewing angle, not to interfere with bed travel, and to allow easy access to the Y axis belt tensioning wingnut. This bracket clips firmly to the double acrylic front piece, and also lands firmly on the work surface. The brackets themselves provide the spacing of the 4 acrylic washers and mounting legs. I used the existing screw hardware from the default installation of this display. Each of the 4 screws go first through the acrylic display face, then either bracket side, then display PCB, then nuts. Geetech must be using an assortment of displays on these acrylic I3 kits. The display that came with my kit is a single PCB, while the instructions show a two piece assembly. I'm including a photo of the display turned backwards so you can see if yours is the same. If your display matches mine, then of course this bracket set will work. I have no idea whether it will work with other versions of the display board, or what modifications, if any, would be required to this model. If you have a different display than mine, and care to give it a try, please drop a note and let us know "yay or nay", and whether a remix would be indicated.
