Replacement sprayer handle

Replacement sprayer handle

Description

Have you had the overly thin plastic handles on hose-end garden sprayers disintegrate? Does yours look like the photos? And then an otherwise perfectly good sprayer becomes trash? If the body of the sprayer is also plastic then it is probably not worth fixing and may indeed be headed for a landfill near you. But we usually buy metal-bodied ones which should in theory last much longer. They are repairable if you can find or make the parts. We were tired of throwing out otherwise good sprayers just because of the overly thin and cheap handles cracking at the top (due to planned obsolescence perhaps?). The replacement handle I designed will replace most common of the handles on sprayers of this type as a direct fit. I reinforced it in the usual failure areas and the sides are far thicker than the originals as well. Although the grip face is not quite as curved as the originals, it is in fact comfortable to use. We are replacing them as the originals fail and so far they are working great. I have included both .stl and .stp files for printing and CAD conversion as needed. Thanks for looking at this, I hope it helps you.
