iPhone X Minimalist Case with Buttons

iPhone X Minimalist Case with Buttons

Description

# Introduction: This is a simple minimalist case I made for the iPhone X. The edges don't creep up too far next to the screen, which allows the virtual home button and other edge-related gestures to be used with ease. This case simply fits like a glove, and the power button presses really easily. However, the volume buttons need to be shifted slightly lower to allow for easier pressing. They are still pressable though. This case only works with the iPhone X as far as I am aware. Additionally, I have dropped my phone in this case from waist level onto concrete and it survived with no damage. # Printer: This was printed on a Prusa i3 MK3S with MMU2S. If you're trying to print this with your MMU, be sure your idler screw on the extruder is tuned correctly so that TPU depresses the filament sensor. This caused me some major headaches. There is no need for the MMU2S though, only one filament type is used. # Filament: As for filament, this has been printed with Amazon Basic and Duramic 3D TPU. Since this case is so form-fitting, I expect TPU to be required for use. The bed was at 50 C and the extruder was at 235 C as per the manual for both filaments. # Customization: You can customize the back of the case to use different infill patterns. To do this, enter the printer settings and set "horizontal shells" to zero for top and bottom. Then, play around with the infill patterns and density to create whatever design you want! I have used grid and honeycomb successfully at around 70% infill. You can slice the design to see it in the slicer before you print. Hope you enjoy it!
