T-slot Filament Runout sensor Housing for Ender z-limit switch (with optional bearing)

T-slot Filament Runout sensor Housing for Ender z-limit switch (with optional bearing)

Description

After upgrading to the BLTouch I decided that I wanted to do something with that dangling Z-stop sensor, so what better than repurposing it as a filament sensor. After much googling, I came across a couple designed and decided that I wanted the best of both worlds. From https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4937795, I wanted the double bearing, bi-directional option, but didn't want to add a fasten-down bracket (I like just slipping things on and off the frame - I tinker too much) From https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4272336, I liked the idea of the T-slot to hold the sensor in place, and the PTFE tubing to keep the filament in place, and hopefully reduce wear from the filament running (it's worn my Al extruder arm already!) As I've been using (and really like) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3052488 I decided to keep the bearing guide. Thanks to Tinkercad, we now have my Franken monstrosity: - An attachment block with no guide (the one with the guide is unmodified, but included for your convenience) - T-slot attachments on the housing sections - PTFE insert holes for some micro-sized pieces of tube (inserted before closing the housing) There are 2 versions for you to choose from. One with the external guide bearing, and one without. Parts are all listed below. With bearing: 2x Spacer 1x Ring (smaller version available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3052488) 1x Pusher 1x Housing Lid 1x Housing Base 1x Attachment block with guide 3x 608 bearings 1x M4x16mm bolt (possibly a nut too) Without external bearing: 1x Pusher 1x Housing Lid 1x Housing Base 1x Attachment block 2x 608 bearings For your convenience, I have also included the necessary unmodified files. Edit: Finished photos added. The black delaminated, so I had to reprint. Didn't bother changing the filament color.
