Fast Print 150mm Cone for FPV Racing and Sports Training
Description
This is a 150mm tall 100mm diameter cone optimized for fast print in spiral vase mode. I designed it for FPV racing as I just don't see the point of gates other than destroying drones. I can clear a gate 99 times out of 100 but that 100th time can be expensive. I like to throw some markers out in a park or out on the dry lake bed and buying training cones in the amount that I would like is actually pretty expensive so I designed these to be able to print really fast and with minimal plastic. They should be fine for sports training as well but one step on them and they will be confetti. They print in about 30 to 45 minutes in spiral vase mode on my Ender 3 with a .8mm nozzle. I did slice one with my .4mm settings and it said it would take about 2 hours to print but my default .4mm setting is more geared towards quality and I could probably. It is light enough that no skirt, brim, or raft is needed. I just put down a small ring of glue stick for it to print on. Printed in PETG.
