Japanese Ring Puzzle (a.k.a. Japanese Impossible Puzzle)
Description
This is the Japanese Ring Puzzle (a.k.a. Japanese Impossible Puzzle). The goal is simply to move the ring from one side to the other. Believe it or not, it is actually possible. Can you do it without looking up the solution? It is important to print the two balls in different colors to be sure which side is the goal. The rope was roughly 500mm long. You should be able to figure out the assembly from the photograph. Be sure to use some good glue/epoxy to hold the top on. The base and top will require supports.
