Finger Labyrinth for Sensory Grounding, Anxiety and Stress Relief
Description
finger labyrinth ==================== great tool for sensory grounding in times of stress, anxiety, and more. At a Glance ---------------- This is a finger labyrinth, an essential and very powerful tool for sensory grounding. It is great for fast mitigation of stress and anxiety. Print this for yourself or someone you care about. To Use ----------- * Place your thumb - or any finger - through the entrance at the bottom left center of the labyrinth. (FINDING THE ENTRANCE: see the vertical wall at the center? The entrance is just at the left side of where that wall bends right.) * Then, with your eyes closed or looked away, start to run your finger through the maze. * Eventually your finger will give you the impression that you are at the end of the maze. Here, *probe* with your finger and nails by twisting them around and around. Eventually you will find the way forward. * The maze will get harder and harder. Therefore, *keep probing* when you feel like it's the end! * At the very end, you will feel it. Open your eye and you will feel better! This labyrinth tells an ancient life lesson: just when you think there is no way out, keep looking and you'll find the way right there in front of you. Caution, though. If the same labyrinth is used too many times, the effect might decrease. I suggest you use it when you really need it - not a fidget toy, sadly. To Print ----------- * You can print with my recommended settings. I print with PLA at 0.20mm with 20% infill and no support or adhesion. As with scale, print to at least around 70mm diameter as to the labyrinth. * You Can print this either flat side down, or alternatively with the labyrinth standing up *with support and adhesion* for better resolution and quality. Your ideas --------------- * Feel free to edit! This is itself a remix. * You can also paint it! Lastly, but importantly ------------------------------ * If you are struggling, *help is out there and things will get better!* * If you think you are in crisis or danger, google crisis prevention and call the number provided, 9-1-1, or your local emergency or crisis line.
