Mark Arsenich's Total Electronics Enclosure for Creality Printers
Description
I needed an electronics case that fit everything nicely and I could never find a cr10 box anywhere. Please view all the pictures, and read everything here! PRINTED ON AN ENDER EXTENDER 400XL (400x400x500 bed size) you'll need at least 325x325x251 bed size Prints on its "face" with NO SUPPORTS!!!!!!!!! Fits raspberry pi, two buck converters, skr v1.3-1.14 and mks gen l boards, stock lcd, stock psu (both original "bigger one" and the thinner meanwell one) The stock motherboard fan fits in the one side and the stock psu fan fits in the other side (you have to remove the "lid" of the psu, see pictures) raspberry pi + motherboard design was borrowed from: MrClown's Ender3 External Electronics Case V2 but I wanted to fit the psu into a case as well I also wanted to move everything over to gx16 type connectors like the cr10, so theres 6 of those. Test fit the screw holes (especially on the pi + motherboard) I'm pretty sure I used a drill bit to drill these out a little bit. IMPORTANT: I only printed everything once so there wasnt much in terms of test fitting done. The only problem I ran into was the cooling fan duct for the motherboard wasnt wide enough AND was too tall. There are 3 versions included, the 2nd one is wider (still probably too tall, and the 3rd version is my "best guess" but be prepared to do some razor blade work (dont cut yourself, cut AWAY from your fingers lol) pro tip: you can directly wire the skr v1.3 / 1.4 / 1.4Turbo boards directly to the raspberry pi so you dont need a usb cable for that.
