Diamond Dresser for Bench Grinder and Oregon Blade Sharpener
Description
This is my design for a single-point bench grinder diamond dresser. Additionally, I have included an adapter so the dresser can be used on an Oregon blade sharpener. The user must supply the diamond shaft and cut 1/2"-13 threads on the shaft. If you can't source a diamond shaft with threads, it is best to use a lathe to cut the threads. However, I was able to cut the threads using my drill press by clamping a die in a vise and turning the drill chuck with a punch. Because the 1/4" holes are printed vertically, they should be cleaned up with a tap. The user must also supply 1/4"-20 × 1/2" button-head screws. A respirator is required when using this tool to dress a grinding stone.
