Charmander Eggbot Design
Description
I did not design this drawing, I found this vector image and painstakingly redrew and updated the drawing to better fit the capabilities of the Eggbot. You will have to draw this using an Ultrafine point maker. I believe the Sharpie brand pens have a .4mm pen tip. https://www.deviantart.com/weaponix/art/Charmander-435610046 Tips for drawing multi-color designs: Your Eggbot/Sphere-O-Bot will have to be very well tuned to make sure the 7 layers line up. If there is any deviation in how far you seat the pen in the pen holder that will skew the alignment of the layers. As I found out with my recent multi-layer designs even keeping the pens the same exact distance from the sphere/egg isn't always enough as some of my pens were actually a little in the pen holder which threw off the alignment as well. One tip I have for anyone trying to achieve better layer alignment is to take a sphere and select one marker that you will forever use as your "gold standard" and load up the bot. Lower the pen so it leaves a single dot on the sphere. Then you can swap another marker and do the same thing. If the two dots are perfectly aligned then when you use those two pens to draw different layers they will be perfectly aligned as well. If your pens do not align perfectly then you will have to find some way to align them. If you are using the Sharpie Brand "Ultra Fine Tip" markers I'd suggest trying out my custom pen holder that friction fits the pen in the bot. You can then use small strips of clear packing tape to "shim" the pens so they are all aligned with your "gold standard" pen. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4201129
