CR6MAX / CR6SE High Performance Dual Fan Part Cooling Gen2

Description

If you use a 0,8mm nozzle or more and you want clean overhangs, you need to improove part cooling. I designed a high performance part cooler for this task. The two bolwers deliver an enormus ammount of air flow. The parts are designed to be printed as easy as possible, without massive use of support. You will need the following parts: +) 2x 50x50x15mm 24V Radial Blowers: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08PV27LVM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 <-- Hint: If the fans dont work, swicht the polarity from - to + and the other way +) Superglue +) Hotglue +) 2x M3x10 Screws Printing: I used cura to slice and as filament i used carbonfiber reinforced BDP so make the mount and duct as stiff as possible. Maybe it will work with PETG or ABS too, but i have not tried. Definetly do not use PLA!. I printed with a 0,6mm nozzle using a 0,15mm layer hight. Support is only needed when printing the mount. Assembly: +) Clean the parts with a sharp cutter knive +) Insert the blowers in the holes +) Solder or connect the wires together to a "Y" connection. You may need to change the polartity of the blowers from "-" to "+" and the other way to make the fans work. +) Connect the fans to the Hotend PCB and do a quick functioncheck +) Glue the blowers in place from the inside with hotglue. This also works as a sealant. +) Glue on the bottom Plate with superglue +) Mount the Fan-Mount to your printer and determine the best position for the fan-duct. Mark the position with a sharpy. +) Glue the mount to the fanduct using your markings a guid with superglue. Let the glue dry about 24hrs. +) Install, connect and you are ready to go!
