Re-Remix-All in one - Filament Jam - Cleaner & Runout Sensor (Modified 12/21)
Description
December 2021 Change: Added clamp for Bowden/PTFE tube on outbound side to make it easier for filament to glide over jam sensor. INSTALLATION TIP: Install the electronics before the Bowden tubes. Make sure the switches clear the housing and the tubes before tightening everything down. This is a Re-Remix of the excellent combo filament run-out and jam sensor (also filament cleaner, but I don't use this feature). Minor changes in this version: 1. Moved the mounting holes to be clear of the filament path and wiring. 2. Made the wiring holes slightly larger, and also added a recess if you want to have the wiring come out the front. This makes adding the wiring much easier - the wired harness just drops in rather than having to be soldered into the assembly. 3. Added a clamp for a PTFE/Bowden tube to feed the filament right to the edge of the upper roller switch for more reliable alignment. These are the switches I used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MFRMFS6?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details Connectors: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JCRH8J7?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details or https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CTH46S7?ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details&th=1 depending on the printer you are using and the size/number of conductors for the switch. I have added a wiring diagram for a 2-conductor switch connection.
