Commands & Colors Card Tray Kit This kit allows you to build a card tray for Commands & Colors games which can be quickly disassembled and stored flat in the game box. It consists of four pieces: a bottom, back, and two side pieces. I have included themed versions for the following C&C games: Ancients Battle Cry Medieval Napoleonics Samurai Tricorne I’ve also included blank pieces for use with other games or for you to customize. C&C uses American-sized standard playing cards which are 2.5” x 3.5” / ~63mm x 89mm. I sleeve my cards, so I designed the tray to accommodate that. Assembly is easy: Connect the bottom to the back and then attach the sides. Reverse the process to break the tray down and store it in the game box. Depending on your printer and filament you may need to slightly sand down the tabs for a better fit. Also, after a few assembly/disassembly sequences the parts should be easier to work with. Try printing the pieces in different colors for a cool effect. For example, I printed the Napoleonics pieces in blue (left side), white (back and bottom), and red (right side) to emulate the tri-color French flag. Some combination of blue & gray would be cool for Battle Cry. Go nuts. Printing tips: If you have a glass bed, print the STLs face down for a smooth outer finish. Each piece will fit on a small print bed, such as the MP Select Mini I personally use. Finally, I’m aware the left and right panels are mirror images of each other in all cases except the Napoleonics tray. I included left and right panels for consistency and to avoid confusion.
