Drinking trough/watering place for ants
Description
This is a drinking trough for ants. You fill up a tube that is 16mm wide on the outside, plug the piece on top and turn it around. Tadaa: your ants, as dumb as they might be, can't drown themselves anymore and are also unable to plug the whole thing with some grains of sand as there are many little holes where the water comes out. Another advantage of this design is that you can vary the height of the tube, so if you go on holiday for two weeks, just use a 150mm testing tube instead of some smaller one that fits the regular needs of your colony. If the watering place doesn't tightly fit your tube on first try (which is most likely as something you order on the internet advertised as 16mm is never exactly 16mm) play with the scaling in your slicer. For my small tubes (16mm) 98% are perfect whereas for my large testing tubes (16mm as well) 103% are just the right size.
