RamjetX Zodiac Pool Hose / Accessory Adaptors

Hi Poolside Internet Dwellers! Recently replaced the full hose and pool cleaner with a Zodiac Aquasphere pool cleaner. Works well btw... Then added the 'compatible' Zodiac Cyclonic Leaf Catcher to go with it... And to my surprise and complete disbelief... either there was an adaptor missing in the box or they produce it with reverse fittings for the marked and intended flow of water through the leaf catcher!?!?? I'm pretty sure I'm not going mad..... .... pretty sure. Anyway.... what I ended up having to do is model and print some male to male and female to female adaptors to reverse the hose connections to fit it to my Zodiac existing pool hose and cleaner. So what's in the kit this time? - Male to Male adaptor with bayoneted fitting on one end and normal insert on the other. - Female to Female adaptor with bayoneted fitting on both ends. - Both adaptors in STL and OBJ format's. - F3D file to mod and make your own versions if you like... just credit me in the original file source if you can. Note, In my v1 test print, the F2F part was a little small. So I warmed up the F2F adaptor in boiling water to assist the first connection for a perfect fit. This I believe is fixed in the v3 I've uploaded here today. But I haven't printed v3 as at 100% infill, it was about 7 hours to print... I'm confident it's spot on after taking measurements from my v1's. Anywho.... it's working away nicely in the pool now. The cyclone now works well with the correct flow direction and I can see the leaves and debris swirling around in the container. Enjoy Summer :) RamjetX Oh... and if you need to, use supports only for the bayoneted M2M part. I set my x/y offset for support to about 1mm and 80degree overhang. I think that should make supports only for the bayonets' tabs fine.
