Flexible Snorkel Tube featuring a Spurge Valve
Description
This is a snorkel tube I designed to experiment with a couple of flexible filament types. I printed the mouthpiece using TPU 93A filament. The purge valve was printed using a softer, more elastic, TPE 82A. For the rest of the parts I used regular PLA. Recommended layer height: 0.2 mm for all the parts but the purge valve which should be printed at 0.1 mm. The only non-3D printed part required is an M2 x 6 mm stainless steel screw. Both mouthpiece and purge valve first layers must be extra squishy to avoid leaks. These are the most critical parts of the print. Ideally you should see no lines but a perfectly flat surface. Since TPE 82 can be tricky to print, I also included a simpler mouthpiece version that has no purge valve.
