A1200 Gotek Internal HDD and External IO
Description
I wanted to have the option to run my original Floppy drive or switch to a Gotek, I am using a switcher for DF0 which can be used on A500, A600 or A1200, link below credit goes to Stuart Hudson. While using the Gotek and Floppy is a great idea I didn't want to modify my A1200 case at all, I decided to mount the Gotek to the HDD caddy that comes with the A1200 and then have access to the USB port, screen, rotary encoder and of course the switch that flips between the floppy and Gotek! The wiring mods can be found on the GitHub from kerif, link below, with the exception of the USB port, I literally just soldered 4 wires from the USB port to a new port in the IO.
