Anycubic Mega S XT60 3 or 4 Gang 12V Power Socket
Description
This is designed to facilitate taking a PSU out of the printer body, leaving all powered internal electronics accessible via a suitable XT60 extension cable. This tidies up the presentation of the printer and makes it easier to move if required. Please note that the printer's conventional wiring requires only two 12V inputs from the PSU. I required two additional inputs to power some external Mosfets - hence a four gang socket. However I have designed a three gang version, as well as an option for a "12V DC" label Please note three words of caution: 1) There is a great deal of variance in the design of XT60s, and this has been designed for a specific model found here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/GTIWUNG-Connector-Upgraded-Housing-Battery/dp/B07VYRTKTJ I cannot guarantee its suitability for any other type/make/version. 2) Tolerances are necessarily small and the plug should be a VERY snug/tight fit. The maximum internal dimensions of the aperture facing outwards are 15.80 x 8.15mm and it is possible that you may need to account for hole expansion in your slicer: too small and it won't fit, too large and it may need to be glued in 3) I am not an electrician and nor am I qualified to disseminate detailed instructions that will guarantee that your printer, electricity supply or any living being will be safe following any modification outlined in this description. Therefore before proceeding with the installation of this socket, including anything described below, I advise you to seek the advice or otherwise instruct a suitably qualified electrician. I do not accept any liability for any loss, damage or injury arising from the modification outlined in this description.
