ViewMaster sliding plate

ViewMaster sliding plate

Description

fairly accurate drawing made of the internal plate that acts on the ViewMaster stereoscopic slides, this is from the later (90's model) ViewMaster International model found in Australia. Compare with yours of suitable for replacement *note, there is finishing required on this part to be functional, the plate is very thin, and may prove difficult to print as the plate is mostly 1mm thick with exception of the axle and thumb handle. - ***To finish the part; bend both the tab at the end of the sprung lever and edge retianer into position (pushed through and perpendicular respectively) ;the lever so that it is then flush with the top face as printed and creates the tab for acting on the slide's perforated notch's in the card of ViewMaster slides, the retainer so that it is perpendicular to the face of the plate pointing in the same direction as the lever tab (this tab holds keeps the slides aligned). this was by design to enable single no support FFF *** I print with PETG at 250 Degrees Celsius 0.2mm layer height and finish parts with assortment of files and sandpaper.
