Under-Bed Bearing Block Riser

Under-Bed Bearing Block Riser

Description

Needed some extra height between my bed base and the bottom beams, because the leveling screws would thud, scrape and otherwise nails-on-a-chalkboard-up my day. These were whipped together in TinkerCAD, and they've been working steadily for me for 2 years now. They give you some extra headroom with which to play around below the bed, but keep in mind you will have to adjust the height of the belt/bed "interface" or the tension / orientation of the tensioner / pulley assembly. TL;DR This may be only half of the solution for some of you folks. See below. If you're like me and have something similar to https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B2673QY/, then you may want to stack some of these bad boys to drop your "belt/bed interface" height... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2249112/files. I actually stacked a few of these on top of each other to get the height to be close. Also, I used these bearing clamps instead of standard aluminum blocks and cut down the weight of my y-axis pretty nicely. Glides along like buttah baaaaaby https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3603004 A lot of u/3Displacement's designs(https://www.thingiverse.com/3displacement/designs) are great, I recommend checking them out!
