CNC3018PRO Alu Frame Clamp for Cable Ties
Description
**Holder for the aluminium frame** I needed an additional mount for the frame without having to disassemble the whole machine again. This clamp can be retrofitted to secure things with a cable tie. My screw is 20mm long and has a diameter of 2.7mm. **Milling in several sections** I use two of these clamps to mount a small tube vertically to the side above the work surface. This tube serves as a guide for a pointed metal rod. The metal rod marks a fixed point on the workpiece. Two holes are now drilled in the side of the workpiece to this fixed point with the milling cutter. The next section is pushed into the hole and holes are drilled again. The fixed point is positioned at one hole and the milling cutter at the other hole. This ensures that the workpiece has been moved in parallel and that several sections can be milled one after the other. With this method, longer workpieces can be milled, e.g. 50cm long.
