Spinning Top with Connected Shaft

Spinning Top with Connected Shaft

Description

This is a remix of "Spinning Top !" by mishkin2. The original looks like an exclamation mark which is cool. I connected the center shaft together here though which ruins that exclamation mark effect but I am hopeful that making the shaft continuous may add stability and perhaps spin a little longer... I have not compared them yet though to see if it makes any difference. I will print at 0.20 layer height, with support, brim, wall line count set to 10, and 100% infill. My best spin time is 50 seconds before it touches and about 55 seconds to stop fully. It is typically in the 30s or 40s of seconds of spin time. I tried on granite as well as hardwood flooring. -- I added another remix as well that shortens the shaft height, makes it more streamlined, makes the end more pointed, and strengthens the connectors between the shaft and ring and puts the connectors in the same plane as the ring. It seems to spin about as long as the first.
