Hat Switch for Star Citizen

Comment for improvement.</h2></b> Please go to Thing Files and download each part separately.</p><p><p>This modification is part in the joystick add-on series.</p><p> I needed a hat switch for the power management triangle in Star Citizen. It fits onto the custom grips: see my other designs. Assembly diameter is 19.60 mm (press-fit or glue into a 20mm hole). Total height is about 35.50 mm depending of the shape of the button. Height from the bottom to the attachment point is 20.80 mm. </p> <h2><u><b>Options:</u></b></h2><ul><li> Several button shapes. The .3mf file is included so you can make your own. </li><li>3-direction hat + 1 press button: <ol><li>Power to weapons</li><li>Power to shields</li><li>Power to engines</li><li>Press: Reset power</li></ol> </li><li>4-direction hat + 1 press button. </li></ul><h2><b><u>Print:</b></u></h2><ul><li> The part named "ground" doesn't need to be printed if your design includes an attachment point: 8mm diameter hole in a 20mm diameter ring. </li><li>Designed for resin printing. Please share your results if you use a filament printer. </li></ul><h2><b><u>Materials:</b></u></h2><ul><li> M3x25mm bolt </li><li>compression spring: (Maybe it works without the spring?) <ul><li>diameter: 7mm to 12mm, ideally 10mm </li><li>height: 10mm </li><li>wire diameter: 0.5mm to 1mm </li></ul><li> up to 5x mini press button 6x6x4.3mm ref. 1825910-2. </li></ul><h2><b><u>Assembly:</b></u></h2><ol><li> See the pictures, they are worth 1000 words. </li><li>The "helmet" part is to be glued onto the "drum" part. </li><li>Tighten or loose the bolt in the "joint" part to adjust the sensitivity of the press-button. </li></ol><h2><b><u>Known Issues and Planned improvements:</b></u></h2><ul><li> Currently none.
