Cracks Cave Arch Stack Stump Geographic formation model with braille
Description
This was designed to provide inclusivity for a visually impared child starting at my wifes school where she is a geography teacher. It also has application for other students who may struggle with some aspects of learning. The model consists of five parts, each containing one stage in the formation of a stack coastal feature. Those being, cracks, cave, arch, stack and stump. Each piece has the title moulded into it in text and braille on the back face. The parts can be linked together like a jigsaw, providing an activity for the student to place them in the correct order. I used three colours of PLA: Sea green for the water, yellow for the sand and orange for the land. The choice is up to you. The parts were fixed together with Cyanoacrylate adhesive. I have included multibody models for those who have multimaterial printing capability or are happy to print the whole thing in one colour. These model have a "multimaterial" suffix. The files should be in the correct orientation when loaded into your slicer. The parts are grouped numerically as follows: 1 - cracks 2 - cave 3 - arch 4 - stack 5 - stump
