Perseverance Mars Rover at 1/4
Description
This project is looking forward to collaboration and extension of existing parts. The whole project is on GitHub, so more than one person can work on it. https://github.com/JeanetteMueller/OpenPerseverance Open Perseverance / Percy is a replica of the Mars2020 Mars Rover Perseverance at a scale of 1/4. All parts like antennas, sensors or the camera tower are available individually. On GitHub you can find the Software for Raspberry Pi and iPhone, too. With which settings each part has to be printed would go beyond the scope of this description. Some can be printed almost hollow, others have to be printed with an infill of 90% because of the load. On GitHub there is a growing guide and inventory list of what additional items need to be purchased such as servos, motors, screws and ball bearings. The whole rover has a size of 80cm x 75cm x 58cm (without the extended Arm).
