Named 32mm Battletech bases (FDM)
Description
32mm Hexagonal based for Battletech. Each base has the name or model of the Battletech. This set should have all the mechs... Actually, wait a minute with only 477 files and 3887 listed on http://masterunitlist.info/ I have to assume I missed some. But most of those are the weird, fancy, or clan mechs I don't care about. Regardless, it's a massive list, so only just download the bases you want. **Update (22/11/21)** * Fixed the broken names and split the set into Inner Sphere & Clan Mechs. * Added 2 samples (a Blank & the greatest mech) along with 2 zip files (1 for the Inner Sphere and the other for the Clan). * All the STLs should print flat without supports. Design Notes: --- * The base of the model is hollowed out to allow for a washer, other weight, or a magnet to be stuck to the bottom. * The external faces are set at 45 degrees, so they should with no supports on an FDM 3D printer. (It's similar to stuff I've done before, but it's still untested. What can I say... I'm lazy) * I have not tested it on an FDM printer, so I don't know if the font has worked!
