ProteusV2 with motor
Description
This is designed to work with the Proteus V2 wings. It has a wider nose to accommodate the battery and air holes for cooling. The motor mount should probably be printed in PET, ABS or nylon to better resist the heat from the motor. Three different lengths are provided to aid adjustment of the CG. Follow the instructions for printing the original Proteus and Proteus V2. Note: I have not actually printed this version yet, although I have printed and flown similar motorized versions of the Proteus. I used a D2822 1450KV motor with a 7.5 x 4 folding prop on 3S (1500mAh): https://nz.banggood.com/Flash-Hobby-D2822-1100KV-1450KV-1800KV-2600KV-2-3S-Brushless-Motor-For-RC-Airplane-p-1628289.html?cur_warehouse=CN&ID=517699 Folding prop with 28mm spinner: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32673595070.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dKKf6ab I printed a ring (propGuideAlu28mm.stl) in PLA+ that fits on the spinner to prevent the props flying forward and hitting the wing and a strip (propguideBackStopAlu28mm.stl) in PLA+ to prevent the props folding back too far, which can prevent them spinning out when turning the motor on.
