97-01 Jeep Cherokee XJ Manual Transmission Shifter Bezel

Description

Did a manual swap on my 2000 XJ, and found that getting the trim bezels to hold the boot on was next to impossible. Did find one company selling one, but after spending $50 on the boot and $30 on the bezel, the boot came with a tear and the bezel came broken in three places and in pretty terrible shape. Despite being listed as in good condition. Nothing against the company as a whole, I got good parts from them otherwise and they offered a refund but didn't have any other stock. So I spent the time copying dimensions over into Fusion360 and started making prototypes in PLA. I've made it to be much stronger. Thicker beams all around, the latches are wider and more pronounced, and the tolerance is a little tighter and holds well. Note: I used PLA only for prototyping, all it took was a moderately hot summer day to warp the PLA. I haven't had the opportunity to test the heat resistance of the current product. I used PETG because it's what I have. It allegedly has a glass transition point of about 150 degrees Fahrenheit which should most certainly hold up to a hot summer day baking in the heat. In my testing I've gotten the parts to have a surface temp of 120 degrees Fahrenheit without any signs of softening. ABS is the way to go, but I don't have the time or capability to print it and vent the fumes. Have every reason to believe that PETG will work, but have not had a full chance to test.
