Coreception 300 / Elf Volcano Hotend 4010 Duct / Limit Switch
Description
This is a Remix. I needed longer fan ducts to allow for part cooling with my recently installed Volcano hot end. I printed everything with resin it may be possible with a FDM printer as well. The limit switch extension I made from ABS but any filament should work. This is a work in progress. 11.11.21 - Updated V3 fan duct corrects issues with tight tolerances. 11.11.21 - Haven't actually had a chance to test functionality until tonight. It seems to work well it sounds like it may be restricting the fans a bit. There is however an enormous flaw in this design. With the added length this creates a clearance issue around the entire edge of the bed crashing into it as well as not allowing the printer to home. I apologize to anyone who has already tried this. I do plan on leaving this up and developing a solution. If the new design is to dissimilar to this one I will link it in the description as well as leave this as an archive for anyone who may find a way to make use of it. Thanks.
