Pump connector: Medtronic Quickset (R) <-> Tandem X:2 (R) cartridge
Description
This is a proof of concept and is not recommended for actual use. It's a connector you can use to join a Medtronic Quickset(R) cannula, with a bayonet attachment, to a Tandem X:2 (R) cartridge, with a t:lock attachment. The proximal portion (connecting with Quickset) has a recess where you can insert a rubber / latex membrane for the needle of the quickset to pierce. You can make the membrane by using a regular hole puncher on an insulin vial rubber cap or maybe on a flat, wide enough rubber band. Again, I don't recommend to use it in practice but if you do I would use PLA, made from vegetable material and sterilize it first with alcohol.
