Knifemaking handsanding stick for hollow and flat grinds
Description
Sanding block designed for knifemaking. Includes swappable backers for hollow grinds with radii matching common belt grinder contact wheel radii - 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 and 370mm diameter. A flat backer is also included. The stick takes 25mm wide sandpaper strips and features rubber-band loaded clamps that hold the sandpaper when working. To assemble the stick, you'll need: - 2x M5 40mm screws - 2x M5 hex nuts - 2x 40mm sections of 2mm stainless rod for clamp hinges (you can slightly flatten both ends to give them some retention) - 2x rubber bands (you'll need to change them periodically) It's recommended that you use the .3mf folder to print the handle and clamps - these files have additional 100% infill zones to make the handle stiffer and the clamps more resistant to abrasion.
