oppo PM-3 adapter for LCD-1 earpads
Description
Oppo PM-E earpads tend to waer out after not too long. Unfortunately Oppo does not manufacture headphones anymore but the headphones are too good to just put away. see e.g. this lengthy thread about other options: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/pad-replacement-for-oppo-pm-3.5471/ The audeze LCD-1 earpads fit perfectly sizewise, but they are attached to the headphone using plastic pins. I glued this adapter ring to my PM3 and mounted the LCD-1 pads using the 4 holes. Sounds perfect. The adapter is slightly visible from the outside, consider this when choosing filament color. openscad source is provided, feel free to change dimensions.
