Aluminum Profile Nut Holder
Description
This customizable nut holder is designed for Aluminum Extrusions (T track, V track, 8020, 1010, 1515, 2020, 3030, 4040, etc.) They position the nut(s) and keep the nut(s) from turning when you tighten the fasteners. You can specify as many nuts as you want. You can specify the shape of the nut holder: hex, square, or round. (You could use the round shape to tap your own threads into the plastic.) You can include an optional washer pocket to provide increased metal-to-metal contact: nut—washer—profile. Probably you want to nut holder to fit so that it slides easily in the track, but not so easily that it drops down in a vertical track. I have found that “Block Shoulder” is the best dimension to adjust to get the fit you want.
