Another Vixen style dovetail clamp

Another Vixen style dovetail clamp

Description

This is my version of a Vixen dovetail clamp, small size, useful to hold counterweights, telescope tube rings, finders, cameras etc.It has a central M8 threaded hole and four elongated holes for M6 head cap bolts. It requires a 30mm, or longer, M5 screw for movement of the clamp jaw (B). An M5 nut is used to be glued one mm from the tip of the screw. It is free to rotate inside the round recess in the jaw, and blocked by the lid that is glued on the same jaw. It is better to assemble the block with M5 threaded hole (A), together with screw, clamp jaw (B) and cover (C), and then glue the block on the clamp base.
