Description

After 5 Prototypes, here is the Final Initial Version of my Original Kampilan-Style Balisong Trainer! I added certain design elements to give it some personality; the play in the balisong is minimal enough where flipability is not compromised, It requires no screws since the pivot pins will be tight enough where it will stay for awhile, you may need to push it against the wall to have it inserted properly. WARNING: This Print is designed to be only used as a skilltoy/fidgeting/flipping; This is not designed to be a weapon This design is free, But I would really appreciate your support over at Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/shoebillstonk Instructions Before Printing (CURA) - Make sure to print the Handles Horizontally for optimal strength (Pivot holes facing vertically; you may refer to the gcode) - Duplicate the Handle STL (flip with the empty sides where the blade will reside facing each other) - Add 9mm long Custom supports to the Zen Pins, set it evenly and set it to 60% Infill (this will ensure the durability of the pins since the increased infill extends into the handle) - Add support blockers by the zen pin (at least above half of covering the zen pins) - Add support blocker by the larger channel (the design above the 2 Circles near the bottom of the handle) MAKE SURE your Bridging settings are tuned (The Gcode provided has the bridge setting tuned to my printer; so results may vary) - IF Blade is in the same file; Add custom support and cover the whole blade, set infill to 60% - 11% support density is recommended for the supports so it is easily removable If you are too Lazy then download the .Gcode
