Anycubic i3 Mega | 6002 Spool Holder v2

Anycubic i3 Mega | 6002 Spool Holder v2

Description

This is version 2 of my original spool holder remix which originally used a 608 bearing. After using it for a while, the axle broke and I didnt like how the spool was not exactly held in place. This new version provides a stable fit for the spool, much more durable axle and a steady rotation. This spool holder uses a larger 6002 bearing which allows for a thicker and more durable axle. In addition to this, I designed a spring loaded spool axle which aims to fit internal spool diameters from ~53mm to ~73mm. I have included two versions- 4 blade and 5 blade versions, the 4 blade version should theoretically compress a bit more for even smaller internal diameter spools. The one featured in the photos is a working prototype using 5 blades and it fits very well with my 70mm ID spool. The hollow part of the spool axle also doubles as a pen holder as a bonus. You may notice some problems in the version in photos (such as bearing sticking out of the holder), these issues have been addressed and all files are updated. I have not printed the 4 blade version but it should work just as well if not, even better :] I would recommend printing in PETG, for better durability and resistance against harsh temperature fluctuations. I've also included the PTC Creo project files as well as the STEP files so you may remix this as you like :)
