Settlers Of Middle Earth
Description
I am creating a "Settlers of Middle Earth" board! Based on the popular board game "Settlers of Catan" this will play almost identically with a few Middle Earth rules I will add! This is a massive work in progress and will take months to fully complete; however, here are my planned pieces that will be free to download: Tiles - 40 fully custom-made tiles (twice the size of the original game!) all based on the geography of Middle Earth and with most having story prevalent miniature buildings/cities (ie Minas Tirith, Barad Dur, Erebor, Hobbiton, Edoras, etc.). Game Pieces - There will be 8 factions (instead of colors) which include: Gondor, Mordor, Rohan, Isengard, Erebor, Hobbiton, Rivendel Elves, and the Misty Mountain Goblins. All with customized roads, towns, and cities that fit the architecture and theme of the faction. Rules - I will create a PDF that will contain all updated rules. It will play largely the same as the main game; however, I have thoughts of adding a "siege" gameplay function that will allow one faction to destroy the built city of another (since war is a large part of Middle Earth!), as with many other LOTR themed rules.
