X carriage with direct Orbiter v1.5 extruder (Right) for Anycubic Mega S printer This design was inspired by awesome Anycubic i3 Mega X-Carriage [MK4] project https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3537449 . All parts was redesigned from scratch except fan duct. Designed for use with stock V5 heatsink and hotend. Easy conversion between direct and bowden in a few minutes. Compact design and integrated channels for heatblock wires Integrated cable chain mounts. Optional BLtouch mount or Inductive proximity sensor 4mm for heatbed leveling Files in this project MK-V-Orbiter-base - Carriage base with build-in fixel left belt tensioner MK-V-Orbiter-front - Front plate for AI3M for stock V5 heatsink mount MK-V-Orbiter-cover - Heatsink lock with Orbiter mount and heatsink fan mount MK-V-Orbiter-fan-bracket - Blower fan and PCB mount MK-V-Orbiter-tensioner - Right side movable belt tensioner MK-V-Orbiter-endstop-pusher - X endstop adjustable pusher MK-V-Orbiter-BLTmount - Adjustable optional detachable BLTouch mount MK-V-Orbiter-chain-mount - Gantry chain mount with optional mount for stock bowden extruder Use fan duct from MK-4 project. You will need to extend motor wires from stock extruder to orbiter. I used standart XHT 2.0 6 pin male connectors on orbiter wires, just plug in orbiter wires instead of stock extruder. Also I replaced orbiter wires with super soft silicone wires You can optionally use BLT with this carriage mounted on attachable bracket or alternatively use 4mm inductive proximity sensor in case you use use magnetic heatbed.
