Tevo Tornado Big Box Delete

Tevo Tornado Big Box Delete

Description

I got feed up with the big control box that sat along side the printer. I found it to be taking up space as well as a annoyance if I ever needed to move the printer. The tall legs I see people print to raise the printer over the box was not a option for me, as i didn't feel it solved what I see as a issue of a separate control box. So this is my solution to my problem. Which attaches everything to the frame, keeping it all neat and tidy. Gaining space as well as now making the printer easy to move around without having to balance a control box on the glass bed. The printer still needed to be raised on legs though not to the heights required to place a large control box underneath. so i quickly designed some feet that attach using the original mountings for the stock feet. once fitted you can attach rubber pads to the bottoms to stop vibrations if you wish. The main board and electronics now sits under the printer attached to the frame in their own contained housing of my own design. I have also made this to take a 80mm silent running fan (only because I had one sitting around) .You can quickly change that in Tinkercad if you wanted to use a smaller fan. The PSU now sits very similar to how a ender3's PSU sits. In its own contained mounting attached to the frame. this is a adaption of Nevikt's MeanWell LRS-350-24 Power Supply Cover for Ender3 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4931630). The screen is attached to the frame using mightynozzle RepRapDiscount Full Graphic Smart Controller Case (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2813298). Although i have uploaded two adaptions to the base section, with different ways to attach to the frame. After Printing it was very straight forward to swap everything over. I only had to extend the main power wires from PSU to the Board and the heated bed. you will also need a additional 14 T'slot nuts and 10mm bolts Though please note what i have uploaded is slightly different to what i have on my printer. As i have made all the changes that was needed after discovering a few flaws in my first design.
