Open Builds Acme Lead Screw And Nut Block Conversion For Prusa X Axis Designed In Designspark Mechanical. I Wanted To Try Out The M8 Lead Screw And Nut Block From Http://Openbuildspartstore.Com/Nut-Block-For-8Mm-Metric-Acme-Lead-Screw/ Before I Designed It Into A New Printer Using The Open Builds V Slot Extrusion So I Came Up With These Parts As A Quick Test Of The Lead Screw And Block. It Is Loosely Based Around The Aleph Objects Clamp X-Ends, However I Found Some Variations In The Distance Between The Z Axis And Z Linear Rail So I Made Them The Same As The Original Prusa Parts. I Added A Third Mounting Hole To Clamp The X Axis Linear Rails, Z Stop Adjustment Screw Mounting Flange And Used Open Builds M5 Screws And T Nuts. The T Nuts Will Fit Into The Slight Recess On The Bottom Side Of The Clamping Plate And X Ends Where The Nut Block Attaches. This Is Very Much A Work In Progress, Uploaded Now To Show Someone Else. I Have Printed A Couple Of Versions Of These Parts But Not Installed Them On A Printer Yet.
