Improved Gear Cover Komet RG5 Hand mixer
Description
After maintaining my two Komet RG5 Hand Mixers I noticed a slight issue after replacing the grease. After some use, the grease would build up ontop of the gears and essentially just stay there. This cover helps preventing that by capturing and redirecting the grease back into the worm gears of the mixer. There is a slight gap between the gears and the arms of the cover, so that these never come in contact with one another. When using this replacement, adjust the washers ontop of the gear shaft, so that there is little to no vertical play. I recommend using a nozzle smaller than 0.4mm for better detail on the fine points. (0.4mm will still work fine though) I have also made a few other replacement parts for this mixer, that may also fit in other models, like the hexagon socket that connects to accessories, a replacement eject lever and a the regular Gear cover.
