TronXY X5SA Pro E3D V6 Mount (5015 Edition)
Description
Remixed and revised the mount, and created a new shroud to hold a 5015 fan. A little modeling clay around the mouth of the 5015 fan creates a nice seal so that the nozzle can build up static pressure. The duct creates a sheet of air that blows on the part below. Won't win CFM awards, but gets the air where it needs to be. I loved the original design due to its light-weight approach. Just wanted a radial parts cooler as they tend to be on the quiet side. Total printed part weight at 30% infill should be around 30 grams. Though dual duct would be optimal for part cooling, there may be a penalty in terms of overall moving mass. I may release a dual duct version in the coming weeks. Update 12/11/2021: Revised nozzle geometry and ducting to maximize the airspace behind the shroud nozzle. This should help give the air a nice bump in velocity. Use ShroudMount v2. Update 12/24/2021: Once again, revised duct geometry, but this time at the exit. the air spray is directed right at the nozzle.
