Spiked Dodecahedron Bouncy ball mold
Description
four identical pieces fit together into a cube mold start by using a thin ribbon of hot glue to assemble the four pieces into two halves. I use a thin bead of hot glue. mix 4 parts type one silicone caulk with corn starch until creamy consistency and fill the mold the best you can without getting air bubbles. I use a syringe to get flawless parts. only fill each half to just above proud to minimize squishout and mess. i secure the two halves together with more hot glue. I plan to make alignment and securement features when i have time unless somebody beats me to it. these things bounce suprisingly straight. makes a really fun fidget toy and just plain looks cool. Stinks too much like vinegar to give away as a present lol. ready to pop from the mold after about 20 min. takes about 25 or 30 grams of silicone
