Headlight Washer Shim for Toyota Sequoia Headlight Retrofit (2018+ OEM)

Headlight Washer Shim for Toyota Sequoia Headlight Retrofit (2018+ OEM)

Description

This is one of several parts related to a common upgrade owners of pre-2018 Toyota Sequoia SUVs like to make: retrofitting the 2018+ OEM (LED) headlights, for a more modern look. This part is only needed if you wish to keep the existing headlight washers, rather than deleting them. The newer vehicles do not have a headlight washer option, and this shim is intended to be attached to the underside of the 2018+ OEM headlight assembly, in order to provide a spot where the existing (pre-2018) headlight washer assembly can attach. To perform the retrofit, you will need to source several parts on your own. In particular, you will need a custom wiring harness (some people offer these pre-made, online), as well as new fender extension panels, because the shape of the lights has changed. Note that you will need to precision-cut rectangular holes into the new fender extension panels (ideally before having them painted). You will need to precisely match the location of the holes in the old panels! The attached STL file is **only for one side**. It needs to be mirrored in 3D software for the other side. Be warned that this file was simply based on a sketch I found in a forum somewhere. I **had to remove** some of the edges to make it fit better, after printing (see image below). So you may want to print a quick prototype for fitment, and modify the file further before printing the final version. I recommend epoxying the shim to the headlight assembly, and the headlight washer to the shim, ensuring alignment with the hole in the panel until the epoxy has set. **Use at your own risk.**
