Improved TP Holder + Phone/Tablet Stand

Improved TP Holder + Phone/Tablet Stand

Description

I found the original design to be a great idea in theory but wished to improve on it - first, to make it actually fit my spring-fit roll holder, and second, to adjust the aesthetics more to my taste. The gap between the two arms is 125mm, and the gap from the inside of the inset hole is 145mm; the inner diameter is 17mm, to ensure most if not all standard/simple roll holders will fit with ease, without wobbling. I've included a test file which is just one single arm tip so that you can print it vertically and check your printer's tolerances against your roll holder; it should fit, but if not it's a very quick and easy part to print and test with, then adjust your polygon expansion in cura or just adjust the scale in general to make it fit. Another change in this remix is the lack of screwholes. I wished for an 'invisible' screwhead so I simply put the screws in right under the shelf and at the very bottom of the model - just grabbed a power drill and drilled a pilot right through the print and into the wall, then put the screws in. Very simple, very effective :) I printed with pretty minimalist settings (3 outer walls and only 15% infill) but it's still enough to solidly support everything from my phone to a small laptop, so there's no worries about sturdiness. Printing advice: don't rush it; print the test print first to check, then print the full model in a decently small layer height and low speed (I believe mine was around 0.2mm and 50mm/s) <i>Remix/CC License Disclaimer: the original model served only as inspiration.
