Fume extractor
Description
This is another option for soldering smoke extractor. I designed it for the components I had. A distinctive feature is a removable cartridge for replacing the filter without disassembling the device. The device is built on modules from Aliexpress. Namely, a step-up DC-to-DC converter, a lithium-ion battery charging module, a charge indication module, a button. The 80x80 5V fan is taken from some old device. Battery - from an old smartphone (May be it was Sony Experia Z1 compact). The battery holder is made as a separate part and is glued with dichloroethane so that another battery can be installed. Use M4 screws of suitable length to mount the fan and case cover. They are screwed into the inserts. The power of the fan is sufficient to remove smoke if the device is located near the soldering point. When removing the device, the power may not be enough - a more efficient fan is needed. For mounting on a tripod, 3 М4 inserts are provided at the bottom of the case. So far, the tripod is only in the plans.
