4max Pro 2 V6 Conversion
Description
this conversion is aimed to reuse as much OEM equipment as possible . it raises everything 6mm to accommodate the longer hot end assembly . I used a genuine E3D V6 direct drive . The aftermarket hot end requires a flat to be ground in it to fit the stock extruder . A cap is included as a guide for the flat . there are two reducers included one is centered the other is not incase you do not get everything perfectly aligned which was my case . Also included is a W.I.P gantry cover which is taller and a bit more ventilated. it also has a ribbon protector incorporated. Best of luck all . This conversion has been tested and does in fact work . Fan duct to come . I recommend printing the assembly out of abs update 12/14: included a more complete lid as "beta lid" update 12/25 : a decent fan duct that fits updated the top and bottom plates
