ItsLitho Better Top Cap
Description
Because the cap walls on the original part are only 2 walls thick, my caps would occasionally break as I was putting them on. Especially when printed from silk filament. I didn't want a friend or family member to end up with a broken part for their ornament. I made the adjustment in Meshmixer to add an additional outer wall all the way around the outside of the cap. The inner cap was not affected and it fits just like the original except now it's much stronger. I added a photo of the original cap and my improved cap so you can see the difference between the two. The improved cap is on the right.
