vaguely functional tripod

vaguely functional tripod

Description

Hey there, have you ever wanted to turn a perfectly functional adjustable desk arm into a tripod? no? Well here's the model anyway. Parts needed: 4x square aluminum bars measuring 11mmx11mm 2x tripod collar 3x tripod strut a dash of leg pivots, and add m4 screws and nuts to taste. You can salvage the twist handles from whatever poor lamp you have murdered for this. If the threaded rod busts through the other side of said handle, just add a nut and tighten to jam fit and/or use a dab of super glue/locktite to hold it in place. You might be able to make this fully printable with some tinkering, but considering how much of the pain the struts are currently, well, good luck with that. loosely based on the Geordi, seen here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3622551 though it's not exactly a remix, just kinda extremely similar. If you're here for the T bar, I highly suggest you use that other model, because that designer actually knows what they're doing.
