I worked with Darren Allatt from [EverythingMicroFPV](https://www.youtube.com/c/EverythingMicroFPV) and he wanted a frame with a very simple spec set : ultralight, unibody, strutted and compatible with [Five33](https://flyfive33.eu/) Switchback TPU accessories. The result is here as the brand new Pickle R series frames. ## Pickle R5 frame specs : * ~40g build up * supports up to 5.1inch props * 20x20 and 25.5x25.5 (turned 45°) electronic mounts * 20x20 top plate mount (pick the normal or HDZERO wider top plate according to your needs) * 12x12mm motor mount (it's an ultralight frame, remember) * use M3 x 25mm standoffs * normal or toilet-tank bottom battery setup (20mm wide straps) ## Pickle R35 frame specs : * ~28g built up * supports up to 3.5 inch props * 20x20 and 25.5x25.5 (turned 45°) electronic mounts * 20x20 top plate mount (pick the normal or HDZERO wider top plate according to your needs) * 9x9 and12x12mm motor mount * use M3 x 25mm standoffs * normal or toilet-tank bottom battery setup (20mm wide straps) ## Top plates : There are 2 different top plates. The common one have M2 holes and will fit up to a DJI vista installed on it. The other one have M3 holes and would fit a wider HDZero Race V2 VTX. Pick the one you need. ## Extra hardware & TPU accessories : You need 4 x M3 x 25mm standoffs (5mm diameter apparently) to build the frame. The TPU gear can be found on [Five33 Thingiverse page](https://www.thingiverse.com/flyfive33/designs) as it's compatible with their switchback mounts. ## getting the frame cut My recommended places are [www.cncmadness.com](www.cncmadness.com) (CA/US/Worldwide) and [www.carbon-posten.de](www.carbon-posten.de) (EU). Great quality cuts and fair pricing/delivery time. you need to send the provided DXF files with the following instructions : - 5 inch frame : 4mm thick Carbon Fiber - 3.5 inch frame : 3mm thick Carbon Fiber - top plate : 2mm thick Carbon Fiber basically you need to pick 1 file for the frame and one for the top plate. You can optionally ask for countersunk holes on the top plate and have your screws sitting flush. Feel free to ask me for directions and help.
